Last weekend at Kendall's first birthday party we thought we heard Austin say his first word. And since then he has repeated it a few times!! So i guess its safe to say that his first word is.....
BALLOON!!!
It sounds more like 'boon', but he points to it everytime! He has also now said ball, which sounds like "ba". And he seems to call both me and Dan "Mama"! He is also signing 'more' for everything, which looks like clapping. And he is also giving kisses and blowing kisses now too! It seems like everyday he picks up something new!!
Fathers day came a little late to the Jones household. Since I had to work on Sunday we celebrated today! Austin had his first haircut, then we went to the park, then we bought Austin a pool and played the front yard!! I am so lucky to have fallen in love with a man who is not only a wonderful husband, but is also an incredible father!! I get such a kick out of watching them together!!
Well Jamie, Brandi and I have always talked about celebrating the 10 year anniversary of our friendship. But that came and went busy with kids and families! A couple weekends ago we were finally able to work out a time that we could all get away!! Thanks to our lovely husbands!!! And we has a blast in bodega bay hiking, wine tasting, hanging on the beach, and plain old walking and talking!! Love you guys!!
Its been a long while and 3 kids since Brandi and I have made it out to Chicago to visit Cindy and family, so last weekend we packed up and flew 3 adults and 3 kids out to the very windy city for a visit and to celebrate Sophias first birthday! The flight there wasnt too bad, just a little stressful and VERY busy. The babies didnt take a nap at all but all of the grownups really wanted to!
